How to get rid of cellulite in 2 weeks after the festive season as a new year resolution.

how to get rid of cellulite in 2 weeksI have always had problems with cellulite since middle age when I was slender but was never bothered by it.  My lifestyle then did not involve wearing swim wear or anything that exposed my thighs or butt.  Since I moved to this area where my family occasionally goes to the beach on vacation I am obliged to wear something that exposes my cellulite.

This problem gets worse after a holiday due to the indulging of food when I am with family and friends. In this article I write about how to get rid of cellulite in 2 weeks if you really want to get rid of this problem.

I failed in the past to get the desired results regarding my cellulite problem among other things just because I had set some New Year resolutions. I have not been able to stick to them any way so instead I rather set goals. That’s why I say, for me New Year resolutions really suck! I would rather put in place habits that drive towards those goals and stick to them. Some may prefer to even call them rituals.  This way I’ve managed to achieve some astonishing results.

Here are some habits that I would like to share with you on how to get rid of cellulite fast in 2 weeks. The best cellulite burning exercises and diet to keep it at bay this year.

Work Out and Exercise While Having Fun

The most effective cellulite solution is to go on a weight loss program that preserve the skin’s suppleness and reduce fat gradually.  Build targeted muscle development which firms and smooths underlying tissue.

I found out that the best cellulite burning exercises that work for me best are cardio and strength training.  To maximize fat loss, you’ll need to do 200 minutes of cardio exercise a week and 19 hours of high intensity work outs that burns your calories.

A science-based, fat-blasting plan for a firmer butt and slim thighs: This two-pronged exercise program helps minimize the lumpy, bumpy appearance of cellulite.

Such aerobic exercises like 30 minute brisk walks are excellent to get some fresh air and sun.  Also running burns fat faster whether you’re using a treadmill or the pavement.

You should also try yoga, weight lifting and lower body moves such as squats and lunges. These type of exercises can build your muscles which in turn gives you a nice toned body.

Can our Environment Increase Cellulite?

As you know that during the festive season, we tend to eat too much food and drink alcohol because most of us really indulge when families and friends come together. I am a victim of such indulgence so are many of us. As a result we gain weight in the process.

During this time of the year, we are also exposed to such environments as smoking among other things that add toxins to our bodies. One of the causes of cellulite is toxins. Toxins reduce your skin’s elasticity and also slow down blood flow. Best diets to stop cellulite therefore must have foods with antioxidants since they are the best for cleansing toxins.

Boost Your Immune System

Having a strong immune system is vital to keep infections away. Antioxidants are not only good for your immune system but the rest of your body. One of the best ways to keep your immune system strong is to eat colourful fruits and vegetables that are rich in antioxidants.

You can also get antioxidants from food such as red meat, poultry, beans, Brazilian nuts, tuna, beef, fortified bread, dairy products and other grain products. To get the biggest benefits of antioxidants from some of these foods, eat them raw or lightly steamed. Don’t overcook or boil them.

 What To Eat

I’ll be eating most of the foods mentioned above to boost my immune system. I am also going to carry on drinking plenty of water.  At least about 8 glasses a day and lots of water rich foods to keep hydrated. I would encourage everyone to have a good breakfast to start off their day on a healthy note. Whenever you want to snack off during the day, eat fruit instead of candy or savoury snacks.

Stir fry vegetables or steam them for better taste and to keep the nutritional value.  Include a variety of fruits in your daily diet. You can cook the fruit and eat as dessert instead of cakes and other sweet desserts.

Eat food with lots of fibre that cleanses your digestive system and gives you energy.  Add a variety of healthy proteins in your diet like beans, cheese, lean meat and salmon.

Our diet lack omega 3 fatty acids which is an important component in our nutrition.  We get this from fish oil and since most of our oceans are polluted, some people have actually stopped eating fish altogether which is ridiculous.  Try this fish oil supplement  that you can take with full confidence.

Give Your Weight Loss An Additional Boost

To give your weight loss an additional boost detoxify and since most detoxifying diets are made from raw fruits and vegetables these help scrub your body clean, while removing toxins and extra body fat.

I have listed below what I mostly use for my detox.

Beetroot

This red vegetable contains a mix of phytochemicals and minerals that makes it a great blood purifier and liver cleanser. The superfoods are known as one of the best vegetables that boost athletic performance and can you help you in high-intensity interval workouts.

Carrots

carrots are one of the most powerfully detoxing vegetables. They’re loaded with beta-carotenes and vitamin A that also have cardiovascular benefits and help improve the immune system.

Flaxseeds

They are good at boosting your mood.  When ground these seed provide fiber that helps to bind and flush out toxins from the intestinal tract. Better yet, flax fiber suppresses appetite and therefore helps to support weight loss.

Kale

To complete the entire detoxification system include kale as much as possible in your detox recipes.

If you unable to get the required veggies for your detox try making your own supplement of super greens.  When used daily it feeds every cell in your body and helps eliminate the toxins hiding in your blood, tissues and organs.

Last but not least!

Do not make unrealistic New Year resolutions or goals. Do not embark on a workout or diet plan to please somebody, think about why you are doing it.  You must do it to add value to your life not to please family or friends. In this instance we are doing it to reduce cellulite, stay fit and healthy.

I’m doing it for myself so that when I go down to the beach next month. I will wear my swim suit with pride. I will enjoy myself without being conscious that somebody is looking at my cellulite because I won’t be having any!

Thanks for reading this post on my blog.  I’m grateful for having you in my life and I wish you a Happy and Successful New Year!!
